Gatorade Store Locator for Endurance Formula!

Gatorade Endurance Formula is available in 1 Liter ready-to-drink bottles at major grocery stores and 50.2oz powder canisters in specialty stores nationwide. This year, race participants can kick off their training with the help of a new online store locator to find and purchase Gatorade Endurance Formula. It's easy to use: go to www.enduranceformula.com, type in your zip code in the "store locator" section, and a map will be generated with every grocery and specialty store in your area that carries Endurance Formula ready-to-drink or powder mix.

Gatorade Endurance Formula is a specialized sports drink that contains approximately twice the amount of sodium (200 mg per 8 ounces) of Gatorade Thirst Quencher, along with chloride, potassium, magnesium and calcium to help sustain hydration by more fully replacing what is lost in sweat. Gatorade Endurance Formula also contains a 6% carbohydrate solution (14 grams per 8 ounces), just like Gatorade Thirst Quencher, which research shows is optimal to help speed fluid back into the body and fuel working muscles.

Pizza Hut will be providing a full-course buffet style pasta dinner on the Friday eve before the race.  FREE for Steelhead participants and just $10 each for friends and family, the Pizza Hut Pasta Dinner takes place in the lakefront pavilion at the race site in conjunction with race packet pick up, starting at 4:30pm with last call at 7:30pm.  The very tasty menu of Italian favorites includes:

• Chicken Alfredo…grilled chicken, baked in a creamy Alfredo sauce with aged Parmesan and Romano cheeses, mixed with penne pasta and finished off with an Italian Parmesan crumb topping.

• 3-Cheese Pasta…Creamy Alfredo sauce baked with Parmesan and Romano cheeses, mixed with penne pasta and topped with cheddar cheese.

• Mama Mia's Spaghetti...a hearty tomato meat sauce over spaghetti pasta, garnished with Parmesan cheese.

• Italian Salad...Crisp romaine lettuce tossed with our signature Parmesan Italian dressing and topped with sliced tomatoes, black olives, banner peppers, red onions and croutons.

• Caesar Salad...Crisp romaine lettuce tossed with Parmesan cheese, seasoned croutons and our Caesar dressing.

• Plus…plenty of breadsticks, Garlic Bread & assorted beverages from Pepsi Cola.

To partake in our Pizza Hut pre-race feast, just check the box for the dinner when you register online, and be sure to include your entourage. A charge of $10 for each of your guests will be added to the cost of your race entry.
