CLYDESDALE / ATHENA DIVISION The Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 Triathlon features a Clydesdale/Athena
division which is open to any male athlete 200 pounds and over, and
any female athlete 150 pounds and over. There are separate awards for this division, but your swim wave will be your age-group wave. You must be 18 years and older and capable
of completing a 70.3 distance triathlon. |
Clydesdale / Athena Awards: Awards go to the top three men and women registered in the Clydesdale/Athena division in the following age groups: 39 and under, 40 and over. Athletes will go off in their age-group waves at the swim start and will be eligible for Ironman 70.3 qualification slots. |
